Privacy Mark Certification

On July 25, 2005, APPLE WORLD INC. was certified by the Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC) as an authorized user of the Privacy Mark (P Mark). The Privacy Mark is granted by JIPDEC to businesses that have established appropriate personal information protection measures in compliance with the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS Q 15001).

Recognizing our social mission to protect all personal information handled in the course of our travel business, APPLE WORLD INC. complies with the rights of data subjects and applicable laws and regulations regarding personal information. To realize the policy outlined below, we have established a personal information protection management system. We continuously monitor advances in IT technology, changes in social demands, and shifts in the business environment, and the entire company is committed to the ongoing improvement of our personal information management.

• We acquire, use, and provide personal information only within the scope necessary for conducting our travel business and for employee hiring and human resources management. We do not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve specified purposes of use, and we take appropriate measures to ensure this.
• Specific personal information entrusted to us by employees and related parties is strictly managed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• For risks such as leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, we apply reasonable safety measures and dedicate management resources appropriate to our business operations to prevent and remediate such risks, continuously enhancing our personal information security framework.
• We comply with laws, government-issued guidelines, and other norms regarding the handling of personal information.
• We respond promptly, sincerely, and appropriately to complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of personal information.
• Taking into account the needs of data subjects, advances in IT technology, and other changes in our operating environment, we review and continuously improve our personal information protection management system in a timely and appropriate manner.

This policy is distributed to all employees to ensure full awareness, and we strive to educate and raise the awareness of each employee, continuously promoting awareness of personal information protection.
